Basketball is one of my favorite hobbies.  Anybody can try it, it's excellent exercise, and it help you to meet people and take you places.  Basketball is a great sport!

Dr. James Naismith (at left) is considered the father of basketball.  He invented the game in December of 1891, in Springfield, Massachusetts.
